Pawnee Mental Health Ag Assistance Program
Pawnee’s Agriculture Assistance Program provides Kansas farmers and ranchers three (3) free mental health sessions with a licensed mental health provider. All providers will have received specialized training related to the unique mental health aspects found in the agriculture industry. To utilize the program, an individual must reside or work in Pawnee’s 10-county service area, which includes Jewell, Mitchell, Republic, Cloud, Washington, Clay, Marshall, Riley, Pottawatomie, & Geary.
National Alliance on Mental Illness | Kansas (NAMI Kansas)
NAMI is a strong grassroots organization that conducts tuition free courses for families of individuals with mental illness and organizes support groups for those individuals. Their Web site contains information on disorders, symptoms, treatment, medications and advocacy.
